Vitex trifolia purpurea is an evergreen, flowering mounding biennial sometimes short-lived perennial with erect stems and numerous spreading and trailing branches as it ages. Grown as an annual in the AP. Grows to 15-25cm tall with 20cm spread. A maximum lifespan of 3 years in its native habitat.
Flowers are showy. They are bisexual in shades of lavender or pale blue, yellow, white, often with deep violet upper petals and with purple streaked flower petals.
