Melia azedarach is a semi-evergreen, flowering, erect, sparsely to a densely branched perennial tree with a rounded canopy. Usually with a single trunk. Seen at 6-10m tall with a spread.
Noted as reaching 20m tall with a 12m spread and a 50cm trunk in its native habitat. Initially Fast growing at a rate of 1.4-1.7m in height and a 1.8-2.2cm stem diameter for the first 2-3 years slowing down to a slow to medium growth rate.
