Coccoloba uvifera is an evergreen, flowering, spreading, dense, large perennial, shrub or small tree. Typically grows multi trunked. Flexuous branches that droop with age contribute to the somewhat sprawling appearance. Grows 5-6m tall with a 4m spread and a trunk diameter of 30cm.
Noted as reaching to 10m tall with a spread of 8-10m and a 50c trunk diameter in its native habitat. Medium growth at a rate of 30-45cm p/a.
