Rosamarinus officinalis is an evergreen, flowering, dense, prostrate, perennial herb, groundcover or sub-shrub, becoming woody with age with creeping stems up to 2m long. |t mounds to 60cm tall with a spread of 1m. Stays smaller in pots.
Noted as reaching 1.5 to 2m with a spread of 1.5-3m in its native habitat. Slow to medium growth at a rate of 20-40cm p/a. Noted as living to 30 years in its native habitat. Flowers are showy. They are lavender light blue, sometimes pink or white.
