Phoenix reclinata is an evergreen, flowering, clump-forming, perennial feather palm. The palm is variable in shape and form but tends to naturally grow in clump. Composed of up to 25 multiple stem with relatively small crowns that lean outward to maximise exposure to the sun.
This palm does not develop a crown shaft. Growing between 3-7m tall with a spread of 1.5-2m and a stem diameter 0f 5-10cm. Noted as reaching 7-15m tall in its native habitat. Medium growth at a rate of 30-45cm p/a.
