Cycas circinalis is an evergreen, perennial cyc.1d. resembling a small palm tree with a terminals crown and feather-like, arching leaves arranged in a rosary, usually on a single stem. A gymnosperm. Grows 5m tall with a 2-4m spread and a stem diameter of 30-45cm.
Slow growing. Accepts both full sun and moderate shade. however bright conditions are preferred. Does well in coastal areas. Grows an elevation of IOOOm. This plant is best where temperatures do not drop below l0°C. Will start 10 decline and die in prolonged cold temperatures and frost below -3°C. Accepts urban atmospheric pollution.
