Citrus Aurantium is an evergreen, flowering, erect small perennial tree with a somewhat open form. A tough species. Flowers are white, takes place in January and February. The fruit is known as bitter orange and is orange when it is ripe.
Grows between 3-5m tall with a spread of 3-5m and a trunk diameter of 10-15cm. Noted as reaching 9-15m tall with a 6m spread and 25cm trunk diameter in its native habitat. Slow to medium growth at a rate of 10-30cm p/a.
