Cyperus alternifolius

Cyperus Alternifolius is an evergreen, flowering, clump-forming, herbaceous, perennial – grass-like bog plant. Grows to 2m tall with a 60cm spread, initially fast-growing to 1.5m tall. The individual lifespan of two to five years, however, has an indefinite lifespan and spread through its continually emerging offsets. Flowers are pale yellow, brown. Flowering takes place all year round. The fruit is single light brown and very small seed.
