Psidium Guajava is an evergreen, flowering, erect large perennial shrub or small tree with a sparse branching habit, giving the tree an open, irregular shape. Flowers are white and fragrant. Flowering takes place from March to May. Fruit contains numerous seeds that are embedded in a soft, creamy to brown.
Grows between 3-10m tall with a 5-8cm spread and a 25-30cm diameter trunk over a twenty-year period. Usually found at around 4-5m tall in th AP. Medium growth rate initially at a rate of 30-50cm p/a. Slowing with age to 1030cm p/a.
